Australian Bush Buddies, are owned and operated by an experienced zoo keeper Louise McKay with help from husband Alistair. We’re famous for Wildlife. Enjoy our fabulous wildlife presented to you in your own comfort zone.

Feel the heartbeat or touch the soft fur and have a photograph taken with our native wildlife including crocodiles, snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles, possums, gliders, birds and more.

We are an exciting and professional wildlife education, demonstration and display business available to international and local tourists, schools, corporate events, groups, clubs, film & television, events, fetes and more.

Alistair and Louise have many decades of working with wildlife and in the zoo industry. Both studying Certificate 3 in Tourism (Attractions), Al started at Bulleens Lion Park at Beenleigh, Queensland in the late 1970s and then progressing back to Wildlife parks on the Gold Coast including Currumbin Sanctuary with Alex Griffiths and working under Des Spittal.

More recently Louise spent many years at Dreamworld Wildlife Experience under the direction of Al Mucci and Vere Nicholson who to this date happily supports Australian Bush Buddies.

Louise is definitely a people person trained with celebrities and international guests with a strong ongoing relationship with Frank Manthey and Kev Bradley from the Save the Bilby Foundation.

Be assured all presenters are very experienced and professionally trained.
