The Escarpment Retreat is set on four beautiful acres of gardens, including a stream and waterfall, and features its own day spa and private Gold Class cinema. Both couples-only villas with bed and breakfast service and self-catering family accommodation (the Edge House) are available.
Pethers Rainforest Retreat, however, is adults-only and hidden away within five hectares of private rainforest. Their award-winning restaurant, massage services and events facilities make it a great place for weddings and corporate events.
Camelot’s boutique accommodation is similar in that it is designed specifically for couples, but everyone is welcome with the Exclusive Hire-Out option! Most packages offer breakfast, and staff are happy to give advice on the best restaurants and activities. Camelot’s St Bernard Cottage is Disability-Friendly and listed by the Spinal Injuries Association. It features a compliant wheelchair ramp, open bathroom, shower seat and furniture arranged to provide full access to anyone.
Seaview Farm Retreat is, you guessed it – perched up where you can see the ocean! Their cottage comes complete with a fireplace and fully functional kitchen, and is right next to the Golf Course.
Witches Falls Cottages, those fairytale-like cottages with the famous home-made hot bread, are right across the road from the Witches Falls section of Tamborine Mountain’s national park and a winery carrying the same name. Disability-Friendly – You don’t have to be able-bodied to enjoy Tamborine Mountain, as there is accommodation available for you. Witches Falls Cottages has a Premium Cottage built to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or other mobility aids. It is the largest cottage, and really two rooms in one which allows for privacy if you need a carer.

A scenic 30 min drive inland from Surfers Paradise, 1 hour drive south of Brisbane, and only 50 mins from the Gold Coast Airport. The only way to Tamborine Mountain is by car. Experience Tamborine Mountain for the day or weekend, and you will want to stay longer!
There’s so much to do with plenty of arts and crafts, breweries and wineries just a short drive away. The Polish Place is central to most activities and tourist attractions, and only 200m from the famous Tamborine Mountain Markets held the second Sunday of each month.
The lush hinterland of Tamborine Mountain has a large number of National Parks, some of them the oldest in Queensland, with numerous walking tracks, waterfalls and rainforests to be explored.
