A Ride to Remember

Horse Riding Hinterland is based at Thunderbird Park which is an amazing wildlife and geologically rich oasis just 40 minutes drive from the Gold Coast and less than an hour from Brisbane.

Nestled along the boundary of Tamborine National Park that stretches across 112 hectares of subtropical rainforest with lush palm groves and open eucalypt forest with grassy understories.

On our horse-riding tours, you’ll get up close and personal with the birds, bees, flowers and trees that are native to the hinterland as well as some beautiful photo opportunities.

It’s time to get out and experience nature in the green heart of the Gold Coast with a friendly horse to keep you company.

Just imagine clip clopping along the winding trails through the cool green rainforest. There’s nothing to disturb the peace except the gentle sound of hooves and the birds. Trace the banks along the tumbling creek and climb upwards through majestic ancient gum trees. Reach the top and be captivated by breathtaking views of the valley below.

Our Trail Rides offers a range of options for both adults and children. Everyone can enjoy this simple pleasure. It doesn’t matter if you have never been on a horse before or if you are an experienced rider, this will be a new, safe and thrilling experience. Sound good?
